Brisket Carbonnade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. beef brisket
    3 medium onions, sliced
    1 (12 oz.) can beer (1 1/2 c.)
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 clove garlic
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    4 peppercorns
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Pour all ingredients on beef brisket.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 3 1/2 to 4 hours, covered with foil, or in a slow cooker for 10 hours.
