Caramel Penuche (Microwave) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
1/4 c. margarine
14 oz. bag caramels
3/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Combine sugar, milk and margarine in a large microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave 7 minutes on High, stirring after 2 minutes.
Add caramels.
Microwave 45 seconds; remove, beat vigorously until mixture is smooth.
Add nuts. Mix well.
Pour into lightly greased 8-inch square pan.
Cool.
Cut into squares.
