Peanut Butter Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3 egg yolks
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. rich milk
    1/3 c. peanut butter
    powdered sugar
    3 egg whites
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 stick butter
Preparation
    Combine 1 cup sugar and flour; add a little milk to make a paste.
    Add rest of milk, egg yolks and salt.
    Stir while cooking until thick.
    Remove from heat; add butter and vanilla.
    Mix peanut butter with enough powdered sugar to make a crumbly mixture.
    Put in bottom of baked pie shell.
    (Save a little to sprinkle on meringue.)
    Pour filling in crust; top with meringue, made by beating egg whites and gradually adding 6 tablespoons sugar, beating until stiff.
    Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top and brown in a 400\u00b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
