Southern Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    1/2 c. Crisco
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 1/2 c. flour, sifted 3 times
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream the softened butter, Crisco and sugar.
    Add eggs.
    Add milk and vanilla.
    Combine dry ingredients and add gradually. Pour into greased and floured tube cake pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
    Delicious plain or served with fruit or sauce.
