Ingredients

8 to 12 ears corn
salt
pepper
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
sugar to taste
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Cut and scrape corn from cob.
Add water if too thick. Microwave on High 5 minutes at a time, stirring after 5 minutes, until corn is hot and changed colors.
If you want to freeze, stop here, cool and bag when cool.
To cook, cook until corn is tender. Add salt, pepper and butter.
If not real sweet corn, add sugar. If too thin, dissolve the cornstarch in a little hot water and stir into corn to thicken.
