Red Bean Shortbread Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 blocks margarine
    1 c. sugar
    4 1/2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 cans Tsubushian (red bean mixture)
    1 egg
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar together.
    Add vanilla and stir.
    Add flour and mix well.
    Place half of dough in a greased 9 1/2 x 11-inch baking pan.
    Spread dough to cover bottom of the pan. Then spread red bean mixture over dough.
    Top with remaining dough.
    Beat 1 egg and brush the top of dough.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
