Eggless-Milkless-Butterless Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box raisins
2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. Crisco
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. water
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
Preparation

Mix all ingredients, boil for 20 minutes.
Let stand until cold.
Slowly add 4 cups flour and 1 teaspoon soda.
Bake for about 1 1/2 hours in 350\u00b0 oven.
Use angel food cake pan which has been greased and floured.
This recipe makes a delicious fruit cake; just add chopped nuts and candied fruits, as many as desired.
