Beef And Cabbage Over Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 medium chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can Italian seasoned, diced tomatoes, drained
    1/4 c. ketchup
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    4 c. (1/2 lb. pkg.) cole slaw mix
    2 c. hot, cooked rice
Preparation
    In a large, nonstick skillet, brown ground beef and onion over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes or until beef is no longer pink, breaking meat into 3/4-inch pieces.
    Pour off drippings.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Stir in tomatoes, ketchup and sugar.
    Add cole slaw, mixing well, and cook for 5 minutes or until cole slaw is crisp-tender, stirring occasionally.
    Serve over rice.
    Makes 4 servings.
