Pear Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 c. yogurt or buttermilk
    1 c. coarsely chopped pears
    nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Beat eggs, sugar, butter and vanilla.
    Sift together flour, soda, salt, baking powder and nutmeg.
    Add dry ingredients along with yogurt or buttermilk.
    Fold in chopped pears.
    Pour in small or large pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
