Copper Pennies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. carrots, cut in 1/2-inch slices
    1/2 c. oil
    1/2 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 can tomato soup
    1 large green pepper, chopped fine
    1/2 onion
Preparation
    Cook carrots in small amount of water.
    Carrots should be firm.
    Mix with other ingredients and let stand overnight.
