Baked Limas With Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. baby lima beans
    4 slices bacon, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 c. each chopped celery and onion
    1/4 c. diced green bell pepper
    1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) can tomatoes
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Cook beans in water until tender.
    Drain and pour into 2 1/2-quart casserole.
    Cook bacon until it begins to brown.
    Add celery, onion, bell pepper and garlic.
    Cook until vegetables are tender and bacon is crisp.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Pour sauce over limas. Stir gently.
    Cover and bake in a 300\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
