Poppy Seed Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. poppy seed
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 box Hines/Betty Crocker yellow butter cake mix
    3 1/2 oz. vanilla instant pudding
    8 oz. sour cream
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 c. coconut
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Grease and flour tube pan.
    Soak poppy seed in boiling water while mixing the rest of the cake.
    Mix cake mix, pudding, oil, sour cream, sugar and vanilla together.
    Add eggs one at a time; beat well.
    Add coconut, then poppy seed and water.
    Pour into tube pan; bake 1 hour and 20 minutes.
    Loosen gently; invert on plate.
