White Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. butter or margarine
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. cake flour (I use plain)
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 c. coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 lb. white chocolate, melted over hot water
Preparation

Cream together the butter and sugar until light.
Add melted chocolate, then the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Sift flour, salt and baking powder together.
Then add to the batter alternately with the buttermilk, beating well.
Fold in pecans and coconut.
Pour into two greased and floured 9-inch cake pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
(I bake in 3 pans until done, about 25 minutes.)
