German Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    2 c. milk
    4 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. walnuts, broken
    1 c. raisins
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar.
    Add eggs, flour, baking powder, salt, walnuts and raisins.
    Lastly add 2 cups of milk; mix well. Put into buttered loaf pan or 2 small ones.
    Let stand 20 minutes, then bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes.
    Makes delicious sandwiches with cream cheese.
