Old Fashion Vanilla Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 3/4 c. sugar
    6 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 Tbsp. salt
    5 c. milk, scalded
    6 egg yolks
    4 c. heavy cream (canned milk preferred)
    4 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla flavor
Preparation
    Combine sugar, flour and salt in saucepan.
    Stir in milk. Cook over low heat for about 10 minutes or until custard coats a spoon.
    Stirring constantly, mix small amount of hot mixture into beaten egg yolks.
    Add to hot mixture and cook 3 minutes longer. Add canned milk and vanilla.
    Cool mixture and pour into freezer and freeze.
