Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
3 eggs, separated
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
13 1/2 oz. can flaked coconut
1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
Preparation
-
Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt in double boiler; add milk, egg yolks and margarine or butter.
Cook and stir until thickens. Add coconut and vanilla.
Spoon into baked pie shell.
Top with meringue.
