Spicy Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onion
    2 cloves garlic
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 can (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes, undrained
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can kidney beans, undrained
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (4 oz.) can diced green chilies, undrained
Preparation
    Cook and stir ground beef, onion and crushed garlic until beef is brown.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Heat to boiling.
    Stir often.
    Cover.
    Simmer 1 hour.
