Squash Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 c. squash, grated
    2 c. onion, chopped
    4 bell peppers, chopped
    2 hot peppers (optional)
    2 tsp. salt
    3 c. sugar
    2 c. white vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    2 tsp. turmeric
Preparation
    Mix together squash, onion, peppers and salt.
    Let set 1 hour. Drain.
    Bring to boil the sugar, vinegar, celery, mustard and turmeric.
    Add squash mixture to syrup.
    Cook 10 minutes after coming back to boil.
    Can put in hot jars and seal or let cool and put in plastic freezer boxes and freeze.
