Apple Crumb Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 to 7 tart apples
1 1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
dash of nutmeg
dash of salt
1/2 c. butter
Preparation

Slice apples; mix with 3/4 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
Put mixture in pie plate.
Mix crumbs by mixing 1/2 cup sugar and 3/4 cup flour together.
Cut butter into flour and sugar.
Sprinkle over top of apples.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until done.
A bottom crust may be used, if desired.
