Icebox Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
3 c. oats

Preparation

Mix all ingredients and roll into logs.
Chill and slice. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes. Yields 4 dozen.
