Beet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 3/4 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground allspice
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. corn oil
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 c. canned beets, shredded and lightly packed
1/2 c. currants
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Preparation

Cake will have crack on top and crust will be crisp.
