Vidalia Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 large Vidalia onions
    1 stick margarine
    Ritz crackers or any buttery crackers, crushed
    Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Peel and slice onions into rings.
    Saute in margarine until transparent.
    Layer one half onions in 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with cheese, then with crushed crackers.
    Repeat the layer of onions and cheese.
    Top with crushed crackers.
    Bake uncovered in 325\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes until browned.
