Country Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. yellow cornmeal
    1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg
    1/4 c. oil
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Put about 1 tablespoon oil in a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish or 10-inch iron skillet and place in oven until piping hot.
    Sift dry ingredients together. Add liquids and slightly beaten egg.
    Mix all ingredients well.
    Pour into preheated pan and bake 20 minutes.
