Baked Beef Steaks For 2 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. steaks (any kind of the least expensive cuts)
    juice of 1/4 or 1/2 lemon
    salt and pepper to taste
    garlic powder
    2 green frying peppers, sliced thin
    1 medium sized onion, sliced thin
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Rub steaks with lemon juice.
    Sprinkle both sides liberally with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
    Place in shallow pan.
    Lay sliced peppers and onion on top of steaks.
    Add 1/2 cup water and cover with tinfoil.
    Bake in a preheated 225\u00b0 oven for 2 hours. Add more water, in small amounts, if necessary.
    Yields 2 tender-as-butter, mouth watering steaks.
