Hamburger Relish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

11 large cucumbers (do not peel)
8 small onions
2 green sweet peppers
2 red sweet peppers
1/2 c. salt
3 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. apple cider vinegar
1/2 c. water
2 Tbsp. celery seed
2 tsp. whole mustard seed
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. turmeric
Preparation

Grind cucumbers, onions, green and red peppers.
Put in large bowl.
Add salt; mix well and cover with 1/2 gallon ice cubes. Let stand 3 hours.
Put in colander.
Rinse and drain well.
Put in a large pot and add sugar, vinegar, water and spices.
Simmer for 10 minutes.
Put in jars while hot.
Seal.
Makes 6 pints.
