Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. self-rising corn meal
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 large onion, chopped
    4 to 6 jalapeno peppers
    1 (No. 3) can white corn
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. bacon oil
    1 lb. grated cheese
    garlic to taste
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and bake at 400\u00b0 until it stops bubbling and starts to brown, then cut back to 300\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
