Hot Buttered Rum - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter (4 sticks)
    1 lb. brown sugar (2 1/4 c., packed)
    1 lb. white sugar (2 1/4 c.)
    1 qt. vanilla ice cream
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Combine butter and sugars.
    Blend cinnamon and nutmeg in ice cream.
    Mix together.
    Freeze.
    To each cup of boiling water, add one jigger dark rum, a cinnamon stick and 1 heaping tablespoonful batter.
