Golden Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. cake flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. mace
1 c. butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 eggs
1/2 c. undiluted evaporated milk
powdered sugar (optional)
Preparation

In medium bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, salt and mace; set aside.
In large mixer bowl, cream butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add dry ingredients alternately with small amounts of evaporated milk, beating well after each addition.
Pour into greased and floured 10-inch fluted tube pan. Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until wooden skewer comes out clean.
Cool in pan on rack for 10 minutes. Remove from pan.
Dust with sifted powdered sugar.
