Apple Streudel - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. shortening
5 to 6 Tbsp. water
1 stick margarine
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
3 lb. apples
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
-
Cut margarine in pieces over apples.
Sprinkle with sugar, flour and cinnamon mixture.
Put on top crust.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake for 30 minutes more. Mix powdered sugar and milk to make a paste.
Spread over streudel while hot.
