Brandied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large cooked sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced
    1/2 Tbsp. ground nutmeg
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1 c. water
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/3 c. brandy
Preparation
    In shallow pan or baking dish, arrange sliced cooked potatoes. Mix all dry ingredients.
    Stir in water.
    Cook over low heat until clear, then add lemon juice and brandy.
    Pour over sweet potatoes and bake about 30 minutes at 375\u00b0 until glazed.
    Baste occasionally.
    Yields about 8 servings.
