Marti'S Corn Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 strips bacon, finely chopped
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
    2 c. frozen creamed corn
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 c. light cream (canned milk may be used)
Preparation
    Fry finely diced bacon until crisp. Add onion and saut until soft. Add corn to onion and bacon. Cook until it begins to brown. Add milk, salt and pepper. Cook until thickened, then add cream (or canned milk) and heat until smooth. Serves 6.
