Red Hot Christmas Wreaths - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 oz.) pkg. Duncan Hines golden sugar cookie mix
    1 egg
    1 tsp. water
    red candied cherries or red hots
    green food coloring
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Empty both mix pouches into bowl.
    Add egg, water and 3 to 4 drops green food coloring.
    Mix well.
    Form dough in 3/8-inch ropes. Cut in 4-inch pieces.
    Shape into wreaths on ungreased cookie sheet 2-inches apart. Decorate with candied cherry pieces or red hots.
    Bake 6 to 7 minutes. Cool 1 minute. Remove from cookie sheet with spatula.
    Makes 36 cookies.
