Congo Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 3/4 c. flour
2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. shortening
1 pkg. brown sugar
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. chocolate bits
Preparation

In a bowl, mix dry ingredients together.
Melt shortening; remove from heat.
Add brown sugar; add eggs one at a time; add vanilla; add dry ingredients slowly.
Add chocolate bits.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Cut and enjoy.
