Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
pinch of baking powder
2 c. milk
Preparation

Mix into a smooth batter.
Put a little Crisco into a large frying pan.
Pour batter so that it will produce a thin pancake. Tilt pan so that batter barely covers bottom of pan with a thin layer.
When ready to turn pancake, place a few drops of shortening on upper side.
Turn with a spatula.
When done, sprinkle with sugar.
Roll up and serve.
They may also be sprinkled with cherries and sugar, then rolled.
