Rhubarb Coffeecake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 c. rhubarb, diced
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar together.
    Add rest of ingredients except rhubarb.
    Mix and then fold in diced rhubarb.
    Bake about 25 minutes at 350\u00b0 in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Good with a light glaze.
