Strawberry Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. sliced frozen strawberries
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 pinch salt
    10-inch angel food cake, torn into pieces
    1 pt. whipping cream, whipped
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in 1 cup boiling water.
    Stir in thawed strawberries, sugar and salt.
    Cool until the mixture begins to thicken.
    Fold in \"whipped\" cream.
    Cover bottom of Pyrex with torn cake.
    Spoon half of strawberry and cream mixture over cake. Alternate layers.
    Refrigerate 4 to 5 hours.
    Cut in squares.
