Mapled Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 tart sweet baking apples, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch wedges
    1/4 c. maple syrup
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon, divided
    1/3 c. chopped walnuts
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. packed dark brown sugar
    1/4 c. butter or oleo, cut into bits
    3 tsp. wheat germ
    1/2 c. rolled oats
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Toss apples, syrup and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon in a baking dish.
    Set aside.
