Marvelous Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean beef stew meat, cut up
    1 tsp. salt or 1/2 tsp. tenderizer, sprinkled on meat
    1 tsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. tapioca
    1 c. diced celery (2 stalks)
    1 c. diced onions
    1 c. cut carrots (2 large)
    1 c. cut potatoes (2 large)
    12 oz. can V-8 juice (I use low sodium)
Preparation
    Mix
    all ingredients well.
    Put into buttered casserole and cover tightly.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 4 1/2 hours.
