Clam Pie(Serve With Crackers) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (8 oz.) minced clams, not drained
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 medium onion, chopped
4 sprigs parsley, chopped or 2 Tbsp. dried
1/2 c. butter or oleo
1 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. pepper
3/4 c. Italian style bread crumbs
American cheese (for top)
Preparation

Slowly simmer minced clams and lemon juice for 5 minutes.
Add remainder of ingredients.
Mix well and pour into an 8-inch pie plate.
Cut American cheese in strips and make a lattice design on top.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Can be frozen and baked later.
