Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. potatoes
    1 1/2 cans milk
    1/2 medium onion
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 pkg. sliced American cheese
Preparation
    Peel and slice potatoes thin.
    Slice onion very thin.
    In large baking dish, layer potatoes, onion and cheese.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Add soup and milk.
    Layer cheese on top.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until potatoes are tender, about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
