Strawberry Buttermilk Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    fresh strawberries (1/2 c. and 1 1/2 c., sliced)
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 small pkg. strawberry gelatin
    1 graham cracker crust or 1 baked pie shell
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in no more than 1/2 cup boiling water.
    Cool completely.
    Beat gelatin, the 1/2 cup of berries and buttermilk together.
    Add remaining berries.
    Pour into crust and chill at least 2 hours.
    When ready to serve, top with Cool Whip.
    Makes one 9-inch pie.
