Funeral Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. seeded raisins, washed
2 c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. flour
1 egg, beaten well
juice of 1 lemon
2 tsp. grated lemon rind
pinch of salt
Preparation

Soak raisins 3 hours.
Mix sugar, flour and egg.
Add seasonings, raisins and liquids.
Cook over hot water for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
When the mixture is cool, empty into pie dough lined pie pan.
Cover pie with narrow strips of dough, crisscrossed.
Bake until brown at 350\u00b0.
