Brown-Eyed Susans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. soft butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 3/4 c. sifted flour
    1 (7 oz.) pkg. chocolate mint candy wafers
Preparation
    Cream together butter, sugar, egg, vanilla and salt. Stir in flour.
    Chill about 1 hour.
    Place mixture 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.
    Press a wafer in the center.
    Bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 400\u00b0.
    Makes 4 dozen.
