Basque Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. cut up fryer
    4 oz. boiled ham
    4 large tomatoes, skinned, seeded and chopped
    6 pimentos, seeded and chopped
    1 clove garlic
    2 shallots, chopped
    1 c. white wine
    1/4 tsp. each: thyme, bay leaf, salt, pepper and chopped parsley
Preparation
    Flour
    chicken
    very
    lightly,
    shaking off all excess. Melt butter
    or
    heat
    oil
    in skillet on medium heat and turn chicken in this until pale golden.
    (This is far less than the usual browning
    of
    chicken.)
    Transfer
    chicken into covered casserole dish.
    Put in 300\u00b0 oven for about 15 minutes.
