Curried Fruit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can peach halves
    1 small can apricots
    maraschino cherries
    2 tsp. curry powder
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 large can pears
    1 large can pineapple
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1 stick butter
Preparation
    Drain fruit well on paper towels.
    Melt together butter, sugar, curry powder and cornstarch.
    Lay fruit in baking pan, hollow side up and put cherry in each hollow.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour, basting frequently.
    Cool and refrigerate 1 day.
    When ready to serve, warm for 30 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
