Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. heavy cream
    1 tsp. butter
    2 c. pecans
Preparation
    In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter and cream.
    Heat until syrup spins a thread (230\u00b0).
    Add pecans and remove from heat.
    Drop spoonfuls of mixture onto a buttered plate or waxed paper.
    Let cool.
