Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef or Italian sausage or mixture
    1 medium onion
    2 cloves garlic
    1 c. mushrooms (optional)
    1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil
    1 can tomato puree
    1 can stewed diced tomatoes
    1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Brown meat (hamburger, Italian sausage or mixture).
    Discard grease.
    Saute onion, garlic and mushrooms in olive oil until translucent.
    Add tomato puree, stewed tomatoes, Parmesan cheese, spices and meat.
    Simmer covered for at least 1 hour, preferably 2 hours.
    Add water to desired consistency.
    Serve over spaghetti noodles and enjoy!
