Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. self-rising meal
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. diced small onions
milk

Preparation

Combine meal, flour, salt and onions.
Add enough milk to make semi-stiff dough.
Heat oil in frypan.
Use enough oil for deep frying.
Heat to 365\u00b0.
Drop dough in hot oil by a teaspoon; turn until golden brown all over.
