Fried Tomato Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 ripened tomatoes
    1/4 to 1/3 c. flour
    4 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Slice tomatoes and dip in flour.
    Fry in butter.
    When thickened, stir in brown sugar and gradually add milk.
    Cook over low heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
    Keep warm until ready to serve.
