Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. milk
2 1/2 c. uncooked oats
3/4 c. peanut butter (plain or crunchy)
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine sugar, cocoa, butter or margarine and milk in a heavy saucepan; stir well.
Cook over medium heat until the mixture comes to a boil.
Boil for 1 minute.
Take off heat; add oats, peanut butter and vanilla.
Mix well.
Drop dough by heaping teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased wax paper.
Cool.
Makes approximately 4 dozen.
